Thank you all for stopping by to comment. I had fun with this shot, since the dog and I were almost eye to eye, and she was a bit on edge, but curious.

Beautifully toned with excellent sharpness Liz. The setting is nice as well - adding interest without distracting.

Well done.

Nice shot. I like the dog and level of detail. I can't say how, but to me the composition seems a little off. Maybe it would look better with a little less area below the dog?

Hi Liz! Very nice. I like the composition, the sepia works well. Wonderful, adorable little subject, I'd take him/her home with me. Well done. All the best, Linda

An adorable portrait. Well executed in every detail. The plane of sharp focus taking in the dog's face and the midsection of the carpet before falling of quickly really pulls my eye toward the dog. I like how the background is blurred but still obvious enough to give me the knowledge that I am looking into this characters home world Looking in from her perspective down on the floor adds to this feel. Nicely done Liz.

Many thanks for stopping by, Gord. This dog is not the friendliest. But she belongs to one of my best friends, so I do what I can. Actually, I'm surprised I got so close and kept my camera intact.
