Doug,

If I knew the people or I was in it, I would find it interesting. I can understand it, if it is a college class, members of a club, or some other group where there is a reason for them to be grouped together.

By "Saving Face" are you referring to the movie, protect your reputation or something else? I guess I just don't understand what the purpose of this is.

They are nice little head shots -- some better than others.

Mark, You're right. The people in the picture, and those that know them, think this is a fascinating idea, and really like it, but your comment confirms that there has to be a link between the viewer and the subjects before the interest level rises. (this is only a small portion of the projected 200 or more people.

As for the title, I like the idea of saving faces in terms of collecting, as one would collect coins, or stamps, and I like the idea of saving faces in terms of remembering people, but the association of that term with preserving one's reputation, or with maintaining honor, may be too strong to use.

I like it, Doug. Each face is individual and unique, but there is something in the whole that is really special.

I have been wondering for some years about the prospect of shooting all the members of a class of students, but I am going to need good light and a good backdrop to get results this good.
