Guest Guest Posted September 10, 2009 William, I don't find it hard to understand? Many girls want to have longer hair, but do not want to wait until it grows out. I don't know what she looked like with shorter hair, but I think she looks very nice with the extensions. Her hair looks very natural. By the way, the shot looks very good, too. I would have moved the main light up a bit so that she didn't have a double (almost triple) triangle of light on her right cheek. She doesn't need quite that much head room. Very good example of what a head and shoulders portrait should look like. Nice shot, Mark Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted September 15, 2009 My dear friend first I must thank you so very much for you being able to always find time to make a comment to my simple works sometimes they are art I think others they are an extension of a feeling or emotion. Like your works of art your photographs they are inspired by a feeling that you wish to pay homage to the ones around you.. To capture somethings that depicts the life you are in and the people who share that time with you. It is suffice to say that all works we do are inspired by an emotion ... That the quiality of our works can not be boiled down to a numeric value but to let the viewer see them marvel in the process and thoughs taken to compose them. Not everyone is Amsel or Georgia O'keef, or Robert Maplethorp but each one of us that uses photography is indeed an artist. In that we must strive to achieve the best we can no matter what the future holds we must always try to reveal the world around us as we see it. I realize I am now in pontification mode and must stop... I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your photographic vision and your talent and taking the time to share with me. Link to comment
