The castle Pálóczy, today the music school Ferencsik János. It has

ground floor and one upper floor in the central wing and ground floor

in the rest. This one is bordered to the south by a garden, a

protected green space of local importance, with elements of art in

public space. It was built between 1785-1787. The castle forms an

urban assembly with the Red Church from the Saint Stefan Place. It is

a building with monument importance, built by Pálóczy Horváth, poet

and physician, on the basis of his own plans, and in 1785 it was

transformed by William Teasdale, English engineer, in romantic style,

who was also the building site leader at the Lánchíd, the Chain Bridge

in Budapest, being renovated in 1072 by the State Institute of

Geology, as the plate on the castle tells us.
