maria 7 Posted September 25, 2009 The castle Pálóczy, today the music school Ferencsik János. It hasground floor and one upper floor in the central wing and ground floorin the rest. This one is bordered to the south by a garden, aprotected green space of local importance, with elements of art inpublic space. It was built between 1785-1787. The castle forms anurban assembly with the Red Church from the Saint Stefan Place. It isa building with monument importance, built by Pálóczy Horváth, poetand physician, on the basis of his own plans, and in 1785 it wastransformed by William Teasdale, English engineer, in romantic style,who was also the building site leader at the Lánchíd, the Chain Bridgein Budapest, being renovated in 1072 by the State Institute ofGeology, as the plate on the castle tells us.
