Dory villa

The villa Dőry, today Hotel Astoria *** was built 1869 (wikipedia). It

is placed on the tourist circuit covered by the tourist train, between

the lake shore, the western end of the promenade and the nucleus

formed by the catholic and the reformed church, or, between the

central railway station and the Reform time centre. It has a high

basement, ground floor and an upper floor, and risalits on both main

and back façade. The main façade looks to the courtyard in which a

terrace is laid out. It is romantic style and it is told about it that

it is the most beautiful villa in Balatonfüred and one among the most

beautiful ones in the region.
