fusionrx 0 Posted September 4, 2009 Would like to know what could be done better. Cropped this image from a larger image, as there was a house, BBQ, and miscellaneous stuff that detracted from image. I have the full image still so could redo the crop if needed. Thanks in advance. Link to comment
kathyb 37 Posted September 5, 2009 All I did was increase the contrast a little to make the web stand out. Too bad the spider didn't have long legs. That would have made the shot perfect! Link to comment
fusionrx 0 Posted September 5, 2009 Thanks for the hint. I did hope to see the spider with legs open, but given how cool it was in the morning I suspect it was conserving heat this way. A gentle breeze would have ruined the dew on the web... i'll see if it survives the night. If it does I'll try and get a second shot as well. Link to comment
major 0 Posted September 6, 2009 We have one of these big brown spiders with intentions to snare me on the front porch each morning when I’m on my way to work! I figure it plans to stock up for the winter or maybe just enjoys watching me dump my coffee every day. Link to comment
fusionrx 0 Posted September 7, 2009 After several days of waiting patiently for this to occur again, I did the ultimate booboo today. Doing some garden work, and I wasn't thinking and walked right through it. Spent the next few minutes doing a Yuck, spiderweb dance, and feeling for the big dude.. Of the few remaining strands, saw the same guy out tonite repair the damage I had done. Link to comment
kathyb 37 Posted September 7, 2009 Maybe he will create a more beautiful web to spite you and you'll be able to get an even BETTER shot! Link to comment
