Wonderful Comp Alec........I don't visit often enough....your images always have elements of beauty, superb detail and well thought out composition, and often are a 'photogenic comment' on the 'location' you are visiting.

 

You travel the world and take us 'along for the ride'........and I must say, you are a very generous 'host' for you do not 'ask for much in return'.......this shot in particular is very intriguing...there is much to 'explore' and so much 'revealed'.........I continue to admire your 'genius'.....and appreciate your honesty and humbleness. WOW this is a well composed landscape! Also the 'red dots' enhance it overall. Congratulations!

TQ David, Gail, Sircar, Axel. Gail, you are too kind. Axel, the red dots are life jackets for tourist to wear when they drift down the Li River on chairs mounted on the bamboo rafts.

 

 

I've been to Guilin myself, but can't say I came back with any images as spectacular as this. Nice work!

It's 5.30am Douglas and people are not walking around, the air is clean and wind is calm. It pays to get up early. ^_^

I just came back from China and I agree the Li river if just amazing!

TQ Pamela, Raphael if you just return from China you will know how hot 34C and humid 100% it was. That's the only bad part going during the summer months.
