Hi, This is from a series of portraits on young Olympians for a Magazine article. It was

shot in Sheffield where she was training for the Beijing Olympics. We took her (

Jessica Ennis ) up to the highest hill we could find ,so we could frame her with a sky

background only. She was a joy to work with. Still , perhaps more impressive, she is

now World Champion after winning the GOLD medal in Berlin 2009. I'd love to know

what you think.

Thanks for looking ,Simon

Great image of an amazing athlete. The only thing I find a bit off putting is the javelin on the right hand side, to me it takes your eye away from the the main subject, apart from that I cant fault it.

I can agree with the comment above. The javaline does not to seem to add more value to the image. The only other thing that I keep on looking at is the dark patch of sky I can't tell if it get my attention due to how dark it is there or because I keep on following the javaline.

In any case the image is outstanding. I love the pose and the concept.

Alex
