jpo3136b 0 Posted September 1, 2009 A recent seashore photo; any feedback on composition might be helpful, as I do not make many photos of the ocean. Link to comment
GerrySiegel 868 Posted September 2, 2009 Composition looks pretty fine to me. I find the gradation of color of the sea from deep blue to green at bottom to be as always fascinating as the waves crash over rocks. And the hues of the rocks are subtle but interesting... I can't at once decide to myself if the bit of coastal grass on the left helps to give depth to the scene-- or not. Maybe if there were just a little bit more of it in the frame I would vote definite yes. A pleasant seascape John. Relaxing as I imagine the sounds of California surf. Nice. Link to comment
harlequin 0 Posted September 7, 2009 I like the movement, color and clarity in this shot. Seems a little dark, but that could be my monitor. The grass in the lower left corner is a little distracting. - Charles Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 14, 2011 hi JOHN.. makes me want to go back.. many different bluish green hues brought to our attention against the harsh colored rocks... appears dark on this dell screen as well much more vivid on the apple,,, sam Link to comment
jokeweier 0 Posted March 31, 2011 John, take a look at Teresa Zafon her place. That is a very good example how you can improve your own photos of this subject.Looking and thinking is one of the best ways to learn more about photography, even if you don't like it, because it is al about a point of view in our life. So, if you feel you can respect also things you don't know or don't understand. Link to comment
