Lovely image, great combination of elements & light.

In this situation I might have tried a version with the couple a little further into the water and cropped so that the water filled the foreground eliminating the sand, and maybe waited for the ripples to die down some more.

But these things might not have improved this wonderful picture.

This looks out of this world.  Are the science fiction fans?

I don't think they are Konrad, but it is funny you would say that because really we took this in the Great Salt Lake in Salt Lake City, Utah and the little black things in the bottom left hand corner are brine flies and eggs...seriously not a romantic setting at all. In fact, all of my romantic water settings for enagagements are taken there and it really isn't a wonderful romatic image, but the camera really can be a great liar ;)
