Dear Thomas, this photo is made in the style of the old masters. But when I look at it longer, I get the feeling that something with the perspective is wrong. The Fluchtpunkt of the eye and mouth lines seems to be on the left side instead of being further away somewhere on the right side. Could it be that this photo was shot through a mirror? Kind regards.

Thanks for your reply. The distortion of the perspective through the mirror would probably explain the relatively low rating of this photo which otherwise shows a high capacity of mastering light and composition and creating a special mood corresponding to the romantic epoche in art history.

It was a good test for my observation capacity which I have developed by watching a contless number of photographs on PN. Kind regards. Karl
