This is an interesting image...but to be honest, although I do like the 'arrow' created by the light etc., in this version, but I also saw the other version, which I like more, but for different reasons. The 'arrow' is great, but the other image has (IMHO) got more going for it. You can see (just) what the subject is, and thus appreciate the more mysterious nature of the other image. I hope I'm making some sense...to clarify, the b&w version above has ONE point of interest - the arrow - the blue version holds more interest as an image for me. I can see 'more' in the blue version, I guess. It evokes more mood. Having said that, this image is strong compositionally, which is what using b&w does tend to bring out.
