Life Photo-Documentaries 0 Posted August 30, 2009 Jim Congratulations for your visitor!I liked the cropping used as compositional element ! The head is a little bit hidden in shadows under the rock, but the idea is good looking! I also photographs snakes.. If you do would like, you may visit my photo.net portfolio and main website http://www.lopezjohnston.com where I have some snakes. Congratulations JC Link to comment

whoz_the_man_huh 0 Posted August 30, 2009 Nice capture, Jim. I find the head is a bit too enclosed in shadow but that's due to the shyness of the snake. Good sharpness and detail. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted September 14, 2009 Even though it is a garter I would not venture close enough to get a worth while shot... Fun to see though your lens though... Thanks Jim. Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted September 16, 2009 Nice shot Jim. Like Gail, I am not a big fan of snakes either. I have had to learn to tolerate them because my son loves and collects them. I have come to appreciate their interesting patterns and colours like this one here. All the best, Linda Link to comment
