This appears heavily airbrushed, kind of like an overdone 40-50's painted portrait, which makes it somewhat unique. I looked at the 'old' version, which I can see why you did what you did, though I will say that the earing is very awkward as it doesn't seem right as it pokes out from behind added hair. Seems too perfect. I kind of wish, as the viewer, to see some hint of clothing.

Re : Airbrushing , it's a problem of where to draw the line , she had terrible skin for a young girl , covered in spots , sores and rashes .

 

The earing I admit isn't right but I got to the point where you say ... sod it , it'll do !

 

I hope you will continue to watch this space , you never know there may be something worth seeing !

Looks very good. Like the total effect colours the whole portrait. Just looks like you shot it with a softfocus lens. But it does not look to much I would be very happy with it. I exspect she was to. Regards Carl
