Donna Stavis 0 Posted August 25, 2009 The upper crust...pomp, weddings, horse drudgery. A good slice of life scene. Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted August 25, 2009 Interesting scene, but I would correct the rightward lean. Beautiful matched pair of blacks. Link to comment
davidorea 1 Posted August 25, 2009 Excellent capture of a funny and nice scene. As Mari says, perfect timing. Very good shot, Pnina. Regards! Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted August 26, 2009 Pnina, where is the locale of this shot? Interesting capture and caption. Looks like a scene from bygone eras. Link to comment

tibig 0 Posted August 28, 2009 and was there a chance they would have postponed the happy event just because of that lopsided sign there? Regards, Tibi Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted August 28, 2009 All of you. Les, it is a bit corrected... thanks Amal, it is in London.... Tibi, probably not....LOL Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted August 29, 2009 I really like the tidiness and precision of this picture. Everything and everyone seems to be in their proper place (as they should at a wedding). Only the sign intrudes. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted August 29, 2009 This is a very nice one, Pnina. Everything about it looks so British, doesn't it? --Lannie Link to comment
rogerleekam 0 Posted August 29, 2009 An amusing image, Pnina. Wouldn't have been funny if the happy couple were fined. Well spotted! Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted August 31, 2009 All of you, it was really a funny situation, the "ceremony" near that skewed signpost..... Elsi, yes, I enjoyed London, I have participated in a group show there, and traveled with my grandson. Next year I may be in Belgium, representing the Israeli union of my women Org.so it may be a chance to meet. Hugs and thanks.;-)) Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted September 1, 2009 A fine capture. I would imagine that a newly wed couple would have other activities in mind and that stopping in the precious 'red route' wouldn't be high on their list of priorities anyway. :-) I'm no authority on horses either but even by my untrained eye this pair look magnificent. Bet this couple would love a copy of this to supplement their wedding photo album. Best, LM. Link to comment
kirk d 0 Posted September 2, 2009 Those are some beautiful horses, this could almost be a scene from our French Quarter down in New Orleans where some folks have carriage take them around after being married at the St. Louis Cathederal. Those look like Azalea flowers that are also common down here. Beautiful picture. Kirk Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted September 2, 2009 Len it was taken in the middle of riding a bus that stopped for a moment... so I was lucky enough that it stopped facing this scene ,and I was ready.... So as you can understand there is no possibility to hand them a print as a wedding present..... ;-)) Kirk, nice to see you here again, after a long time. The horses were beautiful, and I wished I could have a better possibility to photo this scene more than one frame. Interesting that it looks like taken in New Orleans....which is not..... bob_belanger 1 Posted September 2, 2009 Nice event, and the sign makes this somewhat original. Link to comment
lizweisiger 0 Posted September 14, 2009 The scene here is really quite beautiful, Pnina. The sign does seem to be intruding and humorous, but I love the composition anyway. Wonderful timing. Link to comment
