davidorea 1 Posted August 30, 2009 I like this composition of geometrical forms, clouds and sea. Simple and very agreeable. Good shot, Bulent. Best regards! Link to comment
inoneeye 8,651 Posted August 30, 2009 water, color. watercolor+. Hi Bulent. well considered exposure and treatment. The delicate warmth of the subtle 'yellow-gold' adds much to my emotional response. The deeper valued outline of most of the edges, of the structure, works well to enhance a sensual response. Interesting play between the overall look of a facade and the depth suggested by the open portal. structural considerations aside. I would love to rent/own this building ... as my imagination sees it. I think i found my studio space. Link to comment
celasun 0 Posted September 8, 2009 Many thanks for your attention to and comments on this photo. This was one those moments, you all know better than myself, that one feels the urge to shoot almost without thinking. The moment after shooting this I thought it was going to be an above average one (for my standards!).I am really pleased to see you also have found it worthy of attention. Josh,That golden tint (partly reflected sunlight coming in between the leaves of a nearby tree) is one of the reasons that forced me to keep this one in color!I am sure the owner of the place will be happy to rent it to you; it is on the Black Sea coast (Akcakoca), not much far from Istanbul :). I hope you accept an occasional visitor! Link to comment
inoneeye 8,651 Posted September 10, 2009 Akcakoca. I had to look that one up. Istanbul, Black Sea, never been there but i have always kept it high on my wish list. Friends have told me that the light is notably unique...? I get a sense of that in your photo. I love discovering new light when i travel. From Texas to southern France, northern Canada to Slovenia/Croatia....... maybe one day SF to the Black Sea. Link to comment
