Sunflowers

I took this picture near Arles, in Provence (France). I supose it's not that original, but I

would love to read your comments and have your ratings. Thanx in advance

I've never seen a field like this, so it's always "new" to me. I like the sky - relatively dark with lots of contrast in the clouds. I'm not sure, but I think I'd prefer to see the field of sunflowers without the foreground brush that is probably bordering a road. Very nice shot.

Hi Stephen and thank-you for you kind words, I really appreciate them. As far as the bushes are concerned I have really been in trouble to decide if I should either leave them or not. I decided to leave them because if I cut them off the lower border starts with cut sunflower. I mean, without the bushes I'm not able to build a "solid" lower border to put the sunflowers' field on.

 

I haven't ever seen a field like this too and it was very spectacular. The sky has been emphasized by mean of a polarizer filter.

A very beautiful landscape shot... Fantastic sunflower that lights up the whole shot... The depht is also very good... Great work that gives the viewer a warm feeling...

Lovely image Mauro. This sunflower field is very spectacular indeed. No photographer I know could pass this opportunity up. I agree with your decision to leave the foreground bush to ground the sunflower field. Excellent work.
