Love the subtle colors, nice shot, not too sure about the dead center composition, looks too stiff. Maybe if the camera angle, (point-of-view), was shifted a bit.

The colors are rendered very nicely, especially the edges. I use dead center composition myself, I find it works better for symmetric flowers. Off-center then begs the question what the negative space offers the beauty of the flower. I think more sharpness could be interesting,

Jim, Carey, thank you both for your comments. Jim I do admit this is a bit central but in my defence this is a difficult flower to photograph. Unfortunately this species has no stem and sits perfectly flush with the soil so getting a side shot is a little awkward. Secondly, this particular bloom is in a small pot so there was little room to move. Well, that's my story anyway!
