Hi Koushik and thank-you for you appreciation. Yes, the picture in un-manipulated. Otherwise, when you manipulate it, it becomes a 300-400 gr. creamy light-brown irresistible ball. :-)

con questa foto vuoi sollecitare gli Elves a proporla come POW? ;-)

 

Ti chiedo questo perchè sulla questione di come viene prodotto il foie gras, si sono scatenate un sacco di battaglie da parte di organizzazioni che tutelano i diritti degli animali e gli Elves come tu ben sai, amano scatenare discussioni.....

 

L' alimentazione forzata delle povere anatre o oche e' illegale in molti paesi (Francia compresa), quindi penso che questo simpatico "branco" non corra pericoli.

 

La foto mi piace, trasmette la confusione che questi animali provocano al loro passaggio. Bello anche il titolo (forse un po' cinico!). Ah! dimenticavo.... piace anche a me il foie gras!

I ask you this because the way the production of foie gras, have unleashed a lot of battles on the part of organizations that protect the rights of animals and the Elves as you well know, like trigger discussions .....

 

The forced-feeding of ducks or geese is illegal in many countries (including France), then I think that this nice "flock" not to run risks.

 

I like the picture, it send the confusion which these animals cause to their passage. Also the title is good (perhaps a little 'cynical!).

tutti tornano, al fine! Sulle querelle per le "povere" oche, non mi pronuncio, la mia sensibilità come animalista è modesto, lo ammetto, ma quella di gourmet è abbastanza spinta da compensare l'altra. Ci siamo letteralmente uccisi di foie gras e circa queste oche (fotografate nel recinto di un allevamento estensivo enorme lungo la strada verso Perigueux, non credere, fra tre mesi daranno il meglio di se!

 

Circa gli Elves spero che non mi selezionino per questioni di politica alimentare, ma se e quando pubblicherò una foto che lo meriti.

Why the hell should my country ban Stefano? Ok, he's not that easy, but he is a nice guy and a dear friend!

Oh... maybe you mean that fois gras should be banned! Well, we do not produce foie gras but we are allowed to consume it. I suppose that the deep reason of what seems a inconsistency of our government's conduct should be searched in the catholic culture. If you don't know the foie gras taste I suggest you to try it, mostly with pan briochée and with a glass of either Sauternes or Montbazillac.
