Dror- thank you! I shot this picture with a Tamron 90/2.8 macro lens wide open (at f2.8) on an APSC-cam. I love this lens lens, the Bokeh is a dream and that's what is important for this kind of 'painting-like' images. I usually leave the lens wide open and play around with different perspectives and focus locations.

The light is natural light close to sunset, but with no direct sun or sky in the picture to keep the contrasts low. Finally, some RAW-processing in Lightroom (just slight adjustment of contrast etc., but nothing major) and that's it. Hope this helps, if tehre is more you'd like to know I'm always happy to answer!

 

Carey- guess you are right, a tad more sharpness at some point would be better.
