"Da'aw'aga"

I am still confounded as to how the "White Man" could get Tahoe from the Washoe Indian name "Da'aw'aga" for the namesake lake. Even so, I am at least grateful that they considered the Indian name. This would be one of the first of my images taken during a week long vacation with my family at Lake Tahoe. While it was mostly family oriented in nature, my wife was considerate of my wishes and let me get out on my own for some "magic light" photography. Thank you Xiaoping!

Sweet.... Soft light, crisp details and water in motion. Just gorgeous and the purple mountains (anything that sticks up above the nearest tree is a mountain in Alabama) are sublime, with excellent depth... Mike
