Oh, you've made my day! I wanted it to look like a painting because that's exactly what it looked like in person. Mother Nature can do some amazing things, can't she? Thank you all for your visits and comments.

Your recent work is amazing and impressive. I love the photoshoping you have done here. You really have an artist's eye. I love the way this is in thirds, a perfect composition. The reds, blues and the soft green of the sage are wonderful together, soft and subdued, not overpowering.

All the best, Linda

Christal. Wonderful photo that's almost serene in mood. As others have said, it looks like a painting. Did you do any post processing of the original to make it so?? I really like this photo!

I'm so happy you all like this.....I really did too. And Warren, this is basically out of the camera, believe it or not. I almost gasped when I saw this wall.....it had such muted colors and interesting striations.....I just had to stop. Interesting.....we discovered this quite by chance. My husband and I drove WAY back on a very bumpy dirt road to check out a primitive camp site for future reference. We almost turned around because we didn't have a 4-wheel drive vehicle and it was just about giving us whiplash. I'm glad we stuck with it because this is what we found at the end. Thanks for all of your kind comments and ratings.

Hi Christal, I really like this shot. The rock wall behind the fence is so cool! I agree with one of the other comments that it looks like a painting... well done! ~ Gary

Hi CHristal, I love the subtle tones in this photo.  The lighting was perfect for this shot.  Cheers, J
