myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted August 17, 2009 Two brothers who live in the Jewish Quarter of 'Old City' Jerusalem.... "Old City" meaning the walled section of present-day Jerusalem which dates back to Pre Roman and Pre Christ Period. The "Old City" today is divided into Jewish, Armenian, Moslem, and Christian Quarters. The burial site of Jesus is in the Christian Quater. There are 7 gates to the "Old City". They are: Yafo (Jaffa), New, Damascus, Herod's, Lion's, Dung and Zion Gates. Lion's Gate is sealed. Mount of Olives (New Testament) is outside the Walled City, just to the East. The Original City, "City of David", of the King David, King Soloman, and Prophets Era is located outside the Walled City just to the South and it renders the "Old City" to be in fact the New City. aarkp 2 Posted August 19, 2009 nice portrait of the boys, a pov from their eye-level or lower could have perhaps yielded a more interesting backdrop Link to comment
