dave_holland 0 Posted August 23, 2002 Effort, thought, mystical lighting. Almost a dream, much like some of your other work. This one touches a chord, moving beyond the technical into a dreamworld, deathworld, ... I would have preferred a larger file, but detail might obscure meaning. Am I reading into this? arthur 0 Posted August 23, 2002 Beautiful. I am not sure I understand the woman's pose and the hard light that is on her. But nevertheless very pleasant use of color and light on the man and room. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted August 24, 2002 Now this one, Rene, is one of your very best people shot imo... Astonishing light and wonderful gradation in the background right. Darkness at its best... Once more, congrats. Link to comment
hayward 0 Posted August 25, 2002 Superb. This reminds me of the Rembrandt painting of the operating room - I can't remember the title - with its masterful contol of light and pose. Link to comment

james_.1 0 Posted September 5, 2002 Rene, you are one of my favorites anywhere on the net. Thanks for sharing your artistic photos, they enrich photo.net. Your photos obviously start with your mind's eyes, and then materialize as a photo. Link to comment

jackmaddox2 0 Posted May 13, 2003 You should have titled it 'A Guy and A Ghoul', or something like that. Very nice study in light and shadows. Link to comment
dontenville 0 Posted February 8, 2004 Good work, but The photo should be bigger, even in large format, to fully appreciate it Link to comment
