This is sublime! The side-lighting is beautiful. While most of us would have wanted to shoot the front of the flower, you've chosen to come in from behind, and it's brilliant composition. In the thumbnail I was afraid that the brown center of the flower was too dark, but you seem to have managed it just perfectly.....dark, but without losing the detail. Very nice work!

Looks like it's tipped on it's side. Intended or boo-boo? I agree it's very nicely exposed as is though a tad more detail could be gleaned from the seed pod using PS shadows @ about 5% without any adverse affect on the rest of the subject. That is.........if you WANTED more detail there. You may not want that. A fine offering in any case. Best, LM.
