Raymond, El, Mehmet and Gilberto, I very much appreciate your comments. Thank you for your time. The photo is taken in Rome and these unknown gentlemen are shooting the Colosseum.

Nice to see some fresh material from your visit to Rome. Fine balance in your photo with those cast shadows and these two hunters (of which the closer one dressed in dark, geat plus). You had a high shooting position, shot from your hotel room, or? As I think of their shooting, standing so close to each other, makes me wonder whenever that particular spot were the only possible for a good shot, or are they close just for the spirit of comradeship. Did you spot them by accident and had to hurry, or did you follow their actions? If I had witnessed this scene I probably had later checked their POV and tried to improve it - if ever possible. Just a little nitpick: I had been tempted to use a polarizer to tone down the excessive glare, but this depends naturally how much time allowed for preparation and of course the actual exposure settings (not to get motion blur)...

The truth is that I like the relationship between the confusion of the cameras and the confusion of the shadows. Very good framing.

Markku, I was standing at the barrier of upper street, quite suitable position. The place where they are shooting is quite popular and many tourists take photos there, but these guys were together. They were "working" long time, so it was enough to adjust my tripod and take some 5...7 shots. Most important for me was that I can catch them on the time of actual shooting (when they are doing it simultaneously) and when they are not moving at all.

Jose, Keith, Dimitris and Sumon, thank you so much for your comments! I must say that there is almost no pp work, just a little correction of levels and contrast.

This is truely a joy to view. As usual excellent exposure that has produced thos wonderful colourtones. Wonderful control of light and with a perfect sharpness as always. Take good care Gunnar and all the best from Jannica
