Thanks Todd. She is one of my favorite subjects. I think I was a little too close though & the image is just a little fuzzy.

Her expression overcomes the fuzziness/noise. The lighting works well also. Good job Mike.

Great, moody picture!! Love the expression!! I only wish the highlight near her right cheek was not there... ( I might be nitpicking though because everything else is just great! )

YesVamsi, that cheek bothers me too. I even tried to fix it but nothing doin.

Poetic theme of focus/eye contact and split lighting. Compelling portrait.

She and the photographer seem to share a knowledge... of something that is neither desirable nor much pleasant.

Something none of them can/will change.
