Very beautiful model, skin softening and 'glow' works well for this image. (One of my favorite poses, BTW) I would like a little more light on the right side of her face, and I wonder why you kept her ear sharp.

Raymond,

Pretty girl. I like your "mat" effect. You have focused well on her eyes. She has a good catch light in her left eye. The "sly" eye contact with the camera (viewer) is quite clever. She has applied her make-up very well.

Do not pose your subject straight on to the camera. This is not a very feminine pose. Showing your subject’s widest areas (shoulder to shoulder or hip to hip) makes those areas appear very large. Your subject will appear thinner, more feminine and more graceful if turned at an angle to the camera. The angles at her elbows is not very graceful looking.

Be careful of split profiles. You do not want the tip of her nose to come close to touching the far cheek line. You want to make sure the far eye is either completely showing or not showing at all. You do not want to have the bridge of her nose cut her far eye. She really needs some light on her right eye. She also needs a catch light in that eye (if you are going to show it).

You want to compositionally balance the left and right sides of the photograph. The compositional "rule" for this suggests that you position the tip of the subject's nose in the vertical center of the photograph. You should crop a little off the left side or move her to her right.

Do not shoot bare armpits or crotches. Her skin tone is rather blotchy. There are areas of red and blue on her skin.

Nice shot,

Mark

Nice picture Ray, good pose and composition. Post processing is good too. Opacity in bottom right hand border is a neat touch. Prosit.
