anthea50 24 Posted August 13, 2009 Like this? I think actually think that your image is fine; it's a matter of taste as to cropping. I took out some of the edges that were a bit distracting, but on the other hand, I also thought that keeping them in the image gave more context to the image because of the abstract nature of the shot, sometimes background helps to 'see' what the shot is about, then we can let our imagination go and also think about other possibilities. It's nice to see another photographer who likes to invert! Thanks for sharing....cheers, anthea :) Link to comment
jina 0 Posted August 13, 2009 thank you Anthea! (the photo is not inverted. it was filtered by colour reduction. the colours changed in this same process through luminosity transformation.) best regards Link to comment
anthea50 24 Posted August 13, 2009 Hey Jina - thanks for stopping by and commenting on my photos! BTW, what's colour reduction? Looks like it produces interesting results....anthea :) Link to comment
jina 0 Posted August 15, 2009 I don't know how this function is called in PS. I use an old version of PSP where the filter is called "curves," but anyway, the result depends on the (usually non-linear filter) one constructs. Link to comment
