The Classic view and well done. When I shot the Valley I told my buddy, and fellow PNer, Chris Harris that we had to stop here for my first shot of Yosemite. Didn't matter how bad the lighting was I was determined to shoot this view. The shot is hanging over my fireplace in the den. Oh, the lighting wasn't bad but it sure got better. There had to be 100 of us lined up on the wall shooting the sunset two days later. Chris decided it would be better for him to hike up the mountain so he definately scored big time...Ray

Hi Larry- Another nice one from this series. Like the low, darkish tones, the dark sky & foreground frame the rugged mountains very nicely & emphasize their ruggedness.Like how you have framed the narrow white path leading up the mountain Well done. Also, thanks for taking the time to discuss editing. They have introduced a new version at a cost of $280, which is a little rich for my blood. If I was only doing B&w I would take a closer look. But I know some of my images would look better as B&W .Have decided to download at $140 another trial version which may do me fine , thanks again. Was surprised at the amount of literature & software available for B&W photography Best Regards_Ross
