Clemson,

Libby is a beautiful girl. Of course, it's hard to go wrong with any girl and chains!

You have focused well on her eyes. I love her "come and get me with an attitude" expression and her eye contact with the camera (viewer). You have very good skin tone. The out of focus background works well with this image. The overall composition is very good. Her complexion and make-up is excellent.

I am not a big fan of split lighting, especially when one eye doesn't get enough light to have a catch light. I think it might be a good idea to move your main light higher and more to the front. Avoid having the flat of the hand towards the camera. An open hand with the edge of the hand towards the camera is thinning, feminine and graceful. The little finger side of the hand photographs best because the smallest finger is towards the camera. I would not have her bend her fingers under her hand so that they don't show. It sort of looks like she is an amputee.

Do not pose your subject straight on to the camera. This is not a very feminine pose. Showing your subject’s widest areas (shoulder to shoulder or hip to hip) makes those areas appear very large. Your subject will appear thinner, more feminine and more graceful if turned at an angle to the camera. Her left shoulder looks a little awkward. It looks kind of scrunched up in the air. Be careful of cropping parts of her. You don't want to crop off the tip of her elbow. The little bit of white dress under her left elbow is distracting.

Nice shot,

Mark
