trisha jean-angela 3 Posted January 2, 2010 Great image; I love the detail in this one and especially the reflection of the cloud in the water picking up the soft colors of dusk on the clouds. Very pretty. Thank you for sharing. :) Link to comment

Dana C Doherty 398 Posted June 6, 2010 I just added this to "My Favorites". I love the contrast of the strong vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines. I also love the difference in the "temperatures" of the warm red/browns of the buildings and the contrast with the cooler blue/greys of the sky and water. This is work I aspire to do myself. garethleyland 0 Posted October 25, 2011 Hi Alf, this is a stunning shot of Salthouse Dock. The colours and reflections are superb, you caught this just at the right time.I worked on these docks when the original refurb was done, there has been big changes to the Albert Dock area over the years and I played quite a part in it.Very best regardsGareth. alfbailey 1 Posted October 26, 2011 Many thanks for your interest and kind words. The whole place is steeped in history and I guess since you worked on here, you are a part of that and must feel a great deal of empathy with the area. I love what they have done with the old buildings, but I can't say I'm a big fan of the new ones. This part at least remains untouched and still looks great at the right time of day.Best RegardsAlf Link to comment

alfbailey 1 Posted November 5, 2011 Many Thanks! The Salthouse Dock in Liverpool UK, is a wonderfully charismatic building to photograph, particularly on a calm evening when there is no breeze and the reflections appaear clear. In fact I must return to this location soon.Best RegardsAlf Link to comment
