Wonderful work, Mike. I tried to give a '7' but the system wouldn't take it, I'm afraid. Nonetheless I feel this is a very creative and pleasing piece of work. Thanks El and Didi. Yes I’m not sure myself about the focus. This was my first attempt at the ‘miniature effect’ and I don’t think I’ve got it quite right yet.

 

Thanks Ovidiu and Jon– I think the increased saturation has helped with that but perhaps I need to tweak it up a bit more to help remove any doubt about that it’s really a model train set!

Mike, Great use of that technique, and it is so simple, I saw it in a UK mag "Digital Photo" I get monthly. Strangely enough I was playing with a couple of shots I took from my hotel room in Hong kong which I was planning to post. now seeing yours I have deferred that plan!!! This shot is great I had to look twice to check it was not a model..nice work as always Regards Clive

Fairy tale like setting and very beautiful. As others have expressed, I think a sharp focus throughout the photo might be better in this situation. Well done.
