Who is pairing up? Them on the pier or those in the water, maybe all?

An old photo taken back when all I could afford in digital was a 3.2mp

camera (the S602 Zoom interpolated the images up to 6mp). The image

is slightly cropped and had to be lightened a bit for uploading (uploading

to PN always darkens my images). Can this image hold its own, or

need to re-shot with modern equipment, maybe just forgotten as a bad

idea? Please view large and give me your opinion. I thank you in

advance for your time.

After the title, my eyes go to the lovers on the pier. I find all the rest to be somewhat distracting. Humbly, as I think it is a beautiful image, I would suggest cropping tightly on the couple.

A tighter crop would improve this, maybe even into a vertical format. The border merger with the center boat the far shore is a little distracting. The colors are quite something.

It is amazing how a title of an image can really pigeon hole you. I have changed the title, hopefully it will allow for more of the image to be viewed. I, myself, was always attracted to the "Johnathan Livingston Seagull" heading off toward the setting sun. But, to each their own. Thank you all...

Fire in the sky! Very effective use of color to achieve dramatic and spectacular result. Will look even better as a full size print.
