Oh what a joy it was to turn off the flash and try to capture this moment

in nothing but available and natural light...

You really did everything well here. The look in Lucia's eyes is so expressive. The white outfit provides just the right fill to smooth out the natural light. The arm and had are nicely placed. Her parents must be thrilled.

I hope her parents will be pleased with this as much as I am. I don't usually try settings I'm unsure of when I'm on a photo shoot, however, this seemed like the right thing to do in this light and this moment. Thanks for your generous rating on this image!!!!!!

Oh how I would have loved to have had a photo like this at my son's baptism! This is a very personal photo, that I am sure the parents will have framed on the wall. This was a great idea! Keep thinking outside of the box.
