Stone Cercle in the Desert, Mongolia

This photo was shot before the start of the spring rains. It shows atotally barren landscape in the Altai mountains. This is not a naturalphenomenon, it is the result of overgrazing in recent years.

Thestone-cercle in the foreground are the remains of an ancientcivilisation of this area.

Hi Karl very impressive view larger. I like the coulours and tracks as they run through the picture. Very nice have the road and circle of stones in the foreground. For me a I search for the horizon in top of the picture. I think I would have preffered a 10 sky above the horizon and maybe a slight pan to the right or left. Thanks for sharing. Carl
