deniz_tan_celasun 0 Posted August 3, 2009 Nice shot dad. I liked the lines on the carpets with the circles in the middle. But you should wrote "its my older son!!" because as you know im not such a person :)) Link to comment
human images 4 Posted August 4, 2009 committed and orderly activist takes a little time out to watch a movie. . . this is certainly among your best picture Bulent but I honestly don't have enough in me right now to express why - I'll try and do a better job later. I can say how I marvel at your spiderman skills however which really advantaged you in snapping one of the more original pictures I've seen in sometime. Another interesting aspect, among many, is just how well balanced and flexible it is: I flipped it vertically, clock and counter clock, sliced it and diced it every which way, and the picture still works beautifully, every time! Question: is there enough room in PN for two Celasun's ? Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted August 5, 2009 It is such an interesting and unusual angle... very nice point of camera, and I wonder were you staying on the roof....;-)) I like the rich elements and textures in the room, I like your younger son's comment..... and all the technology with the"cut" human legs, the light and B/W conversion. Really interesting and unusual composition, with a hint of humor as well...;-)) Link to comment
michaelhills 0 Posted August 20, 2009 Bulent, this image screamed out to me from the rest of your images in your 'recents' folder. I love it. Cannot say why I do, but I just do. Maybe because it is the almost abstract and graphical nature of what is obviously a domestic scene. It is also the possibility to tell a narrative in the viewer's head... but, maybe because I like it because I just want to chill and watch some tv now... M :) Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted August 26, 2009 Good God! I hope she doesn't look up and discover you dangling from the ceiling. Those legs take on a life of their own, as if the rest of her body were still in bed and the legs were doing a little tv watching while she was asleep. Link to comment
celasun 0 Posted September 30, 2009 Deniz,It could well be you, you know :)Carlos,I did in fact, show some spiderman-like skills to shoot this one. If the camera were a bit heavier, it might have tipped the balance and... I could ruin the TV show if nothing more!I am really pleased that you have found this amusing.I was about to leave the house when I noticed this and felt the urge to shoot!Fortunately, the other Celasun is busy doing other things (in Finland, at the moment) and I can continue to use the space here freely :)Pnina,I am pleased with the "humor component" of this, as you put nicely. I am also pleased that my model (unaware of the situation until he saw it here) also has a sense of humor ;)(He still regards himself an activist, by the way!).Michael,Many thanks for your thoughtful comment, which makes me smile whenever I read it :)Jack,I am sure he would like the idea of watching the TV using his feet while he remains in his bed hitting the keyboard of his notebook: Best of both worlds! juan-de-santa-anna 0 Posted December 13, 2009 I too was stopped by the thumbnail version of this wonderful image. The angle of view from the ceiling fan is a fresh look! I like how everything is put away nice and neat...it's like after all the chores are done it's time to relax...The cabin we live in very small...easy to clean but even easier to mess up...the foot stool askew is the beginning of it falling apart again! Glad to see that you have included the most important tool of any activist...the remote(S) juan Link to comment
