The bird needs to go. It is a distraction for the way the picture is cropped. Perhaps if it was cropped from above just above the men's heads, it would work better.

I say the pigeon goes and the bottom cropping on the second pic is just high enough so that highest stripe doesn't show up. There, I said it and I'm glad!

A splendid casual scene of human interactment, maybe the bird does take one's eyes off of the couple, but nevertheless great shot with excellent b/w processing....Regards

brilliant document of simple veryday life. two people engaged in a conversation and a bird carelessly hopping about. not too sure but in my opinion the bird adds to this magnetic triangular composition and fills the lower space with with a powerful presence. great tonal value as well. regards!
