setsail728 14 Posted July 28, 2009 Lovely composition and I love the softened pastel colors. Looks like you used the sponge filter and/or perhaps the dry brush. I LOVE the results of your processing!! Really a lovely artistic ambiance to this photo! Bravo!! Link to comment
rekaras 0 Posted July 28, 2009 This is a wonderful treatment of a beautiful image. I especially like the colors & the interior border it is so well conceived and executed. Thank you so much for your several recent comments. I especially appreciate your feelings on the rainbow mist image. I felt it had validity in the softness of the color & I liked the idea you posed of the woman in the mist. Dennis' comments were valid in his experience and estimation. Not everyone responds to images in the same way. I'll bet if I had incorporated your idea the image would have been so much more effective, but again I thank you for your time and kind comments. rek Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted July 28, 2009 Thankyou for your enthusiastic response Warren. Actually this shot had quite a few layers in it....the face of the bluffs is very dried out soil....I'd taken a shot of a nice 'rock face' and tried to encorporate it..it was a challenge as the flowers did not want to show up very brightly not matter what opacity I was 'fiddling' with...but I finally ariived at wht seemed to be an 'okay' image. I'm glad you liked it...I used a combination of effects on the flowers themselves(plus a few layers) until I found what I liked. Tnks again...Gail Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted July 28, 2009 Thakyou for your very constructive comments on this image, it is truly appreciated....you are right...I've addressed Dennis and apologised if I offended him with anything I said...I liked your image very much and in error, I feel I took his comment too personally, it seemed quite harsh....and actually he has the right to critiuqe in his own manner. It's like I felt offended for you.....how 'crazy' is that??? Another lesson learned in the fine 'art' of critiquing.....cheers Richard and thakyou once again for your comment...sincerely, Gail Link to comment
