orias 0 Posted July 26, 2009 In semi pulled back views, I kind of like to see the bottom of the wave to really judge the size. These waves have been large enough that you should show them in all their glory. I was there yesterday and will be there today too and these waves are some of the best waves for the US Open in many years. In terms of the action, it is well captured and at a peak moment. danbliss 0 Posted July 26, 2009 It is a brilliant capture. I like the tones, the composition, and the textures. Nicely done. Dan Link to comment
Leroy_Photography 0 Posted July 27, 2009 Very nice contrast. It causes me to worry that the surfer is about to crash into the pier. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
krpradu 125 Posted July 27, 2009 Well done with a very good time exposure and result is evident, regards Radu. Link to comment
Yves Petronin 42 Posted October 31, 2009 Magnificent picture. Fantastic composition and dynamics. I love the black and white....Remarkable overall. I am curious. What are the "trees" or poles in the background? Link to comment
Jim_Dockery_Photos 2 Posted May 22, 2012 Focus and peak action capture are spot on. I love the dark tones behind the brilliant water and sharp contrast. Sure wish I could surf like that, looks like incredible fun! Link to comment
