fischerphotos 0 Posted July 25, 2009 This is my photo blind. The pond is only about 6 or 7 inches deep. Just enough so birds can drink and take baths out of it. Around the pond there are several perches for them to fly onto. On the bigger perches, I drilled holes in the tops of them to store extra food. I also sprinkle bird seed all over the ground and around the perches. The deer skull to the left is also a perch. I barried it a few inches to make it look old then I planted a cactus behind it. My hope is that a cardinal or some other bright colored bird will land on the antler long enough for a photo. The blind it's self is dug into the ground so that I'm eye level with my subjects. Around the sides of the blind are just some old burlap sacks that are attached to it and on the front side, I cut a few holes to see and photograph out of. Hope you enjoy! Link to comment
robert becker 0 Posted April 25, 2010 Interesting set-up. Have you checked out Alan Murphy's website? He has a CD book that could help you refine this idea. Keep up the good work!http://alanmurphyphotography.com/ Link to comment
