karolostrivizas 2 Posted July 28, 2009 Very interesting double portrait Emmanuel originally presented against this dark b/g........ The sepia like chromatic effect creates a nice artistic effect. Link to comment

Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted July 30, 2009 I still remember the afternoon I took this picture. In those days, I used to borrow a camera from an Indian friend of mine named Potash. Another friend of mine, Larry Donner, had a Japanese girlfriend named Haroomi, and these girls were visiting her. They all came to my apartment, where I shot these images, using only the light from an open window. They were there perhaps 30 minutes, then they were gone back to Japan, and I never saw them again. They never even saw the pictures. Yet, and I say this in all sincerity, though this image is more than 20 years old, it still remains one of my most cherished images, and brings me almost indefinable pleasure, as this remains one of the few images where I felt I captured that something we all wish for, but, in the words of the immortal Dolly Parton, few can find.
