sven keil 0 Posted July 23, 2009 To me the tree in front seems to loom out of the image - great composition and subject. Regards - MS Link to comment
victor_montero 0 Posted July 23, 2009 Podría titularse "Naturaleza muerta" a la que has dado vida.¿Puede haber sido tomada en el desierto de Namibia, que has visitado recientemente?. Espectacular fotografía. Duna..... Valle que ha muerto.....Soledad..... Serenidad..... Tranquilidad..... Qué claridad de luz has conseguido para haber plasmado esa nitidez de coloridos tan bien delimitados Sencillamente maravillosa. Enhorabuena. Besos, hijo. Link to comment

john_a5 0 Posted July 24, 2009 Although this area seems to be becoming as iconic as Yosemite or Monument Valley, sometimes someone is lucky enough to create an image that is a bit more rare. I think you did it with this one and maybe there are others like it out there, but I haven't seen them yet! As it is, it is very nice. For me though, I might cheat and add some more sky to this one at the top, just give it a little more breathing room, probably just doubling the sliver that is there already would do it. I think the real story here, what goes beyond just another photo, is the relationship between the foreground tree and the one on the right. The almost reaching out of this foreground tree to the one in the back, like a lost child. Because of this relationship, I personally would also consider whether the small tree next to the foreground tree wouldn't be better if we didn't see it--just a bit close and it starts to visually compress the depth within the image. In fact, if you aren't a stickler for what was really there, I would even wonder if removing all of the trees on the left wouldn't produce a more stunning image. But that is a bit more radical, I know. Nice work. Link to comment
