This is a perfect enlightening vision.

Sorry to be be not adequate with my words, but I think that this photo is worth being in all the Art books about architecture.

Thank you for your nice comment . Its greatly appreciated, and following is the history behind this beautiful mosque:

"Masjid-e-Jamé" is a mosque in Yazd. Jamé stems from the root word jám, meaning gathering.

The 12th century mosque is still in use today. It was first built under Ala'oddoleh Garshasb of the Al-e Bouyeh dynasty. The mosque was largely rebuilt between 1324CE and 1365CE, and is one of the outstanding 14th century buildings of Iran.

The mosque is a fine specimen of the Azari style of Persian architecture.

Best regards

Hi Sadegh, May I add my compliments for your outstanding photo. I very much like the composition, with a peek of the inside of this mosque. The colors are also beautiful, and in particular those of the mosaic tiles. Congrats -- very well done!

(And thanks too for the interesting information you provided with this:-)

Kind regards, Marjolein
