borek_lupomesky 0 Posted August 16, 2002 This is nice photgraph, but the horizon seems to be unecessary - I'd say even distracting. Cropping from the top would enhance your picture. Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted November 15, 2003 Another one I'd like to see in B&W ........ ! Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted April 29, 2004 Your opinion is valued! Ratings less so! Eliminate the sky area at the top? Convert to B&W? How to elevate this shot? Best, LM. Link to comment
domenico_maria_giffone 0 Posted August 13, 2004 I like this shot very much: nice subject and prospective. I agree with the comment above: better without the horizon. Tought i had to say that surely i would choose your composition and take quite the same photo. Sorry for my bad english Link to comment
daryl walter 0 Posted August 20, 2005 I like the way this one flows. Personally I wouldn't crop it although I might have tried to get a bit more detail in the sky area - it would probably benefit from being shot at a different time of day? The image looks a little fuzzy but I'm assuming that is from being jpegged. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted August 20, 2005 Daryl, "I like the way this one flows........". Very good pun Daryl, it's a stream! :-) Actually the least favoured by me of my posts. I was planning on removing it but just never got around to it. Good point about the sky area, that's why I minimized it through severe cropping, leaving only a sliver. Commenter Borek may have a point. Looked good at the time I took it but scanning from an entry level flatbed from a poor quality 4 x 6 proof leaves this one wanting. Perhaps if I ever get around to buying a decent film scanner I might squeeze an optimum image from it. Thanks for your interest & insight. Best, LM. Link to comment
