Jack McRitchie 150 Posted July 27, 2009 Interesting that you went with high key color so that you almost have to squint against the glare of the day. I suppose this is an accurate representation of the kind of light I would encounter were I to visit this spot. Link to comment
celasun 0 Posted July 29, 2009 Thank you both visiting and leaving comments. This particular spot is at the junction of Mediterranean and Aegean seas. There are two Roman harbors there opposite each other with a less than 100 meters distance between them!In most days of the year the area is under bright sun. However, it is almost always windy even when the weather is hot. You expect at least a breeze. That makes fooling around Datca even at hot summer days a pleasure! Unfortunately, I have no hotels there yet; and, as of today, I cannot arrange reservations :)Jack,You are right about the brightness. I have tried my best to shoot there in spite of the photographically quite harsh conditions. On the other hand, I believe this is a proper record of the place. (I must also tell you that there is a nice cafe by one of the harbors and one can spend a whole day there by doing nothing!). Link to comment
