ldavidson 4 Posted July 17, 2009 This is my friend's sweet dog "Bear". Her favorite place to sleep is on her feet. Link to comment
Donna Stavis 0 Posted July 17, 2009 Sweet perspective. I know this type of dog behavior. The only nit is the frame feels a bit heavy. Link to comment

ldavidson 4 Posted July 18, 2009 Thank you all for taking the time to comment. Your encouragement means a lot. Donna, perhaps the frame is a bit wide and heavy, I'm not sure. Thanks for mentioning that. Kaushik, thanks! Michael, thank you. Christal, great idea, thanks. Gail, thank you. This dog makes everyone smile, she is so good natured. Warren, yes, you are right, so mellow. Thanks. David, thanks. My little dog has her favorite "spot" her bed. She can sleep anywhere if we bring that along. Thanks. All the best. Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted July 22, 2009 Such a 'cozy' 'pair'...............his face certainly glows with contentment Linda...and I'm sure that is one spot he just loves to be.....they are amazing these animals we choose to love. They always love us back with a 'love' we as humans would do well to aspire to. They are so intuitive....so knowing of when we 'need' their comfort...you are blessed Linda....he is adorable....and I know you love him with all your heart. Good friends are hard to find.......and I'm sure "Bear" is one of your 'Best'..great shot....give him a hug for me...for I don't have one to 'cuddle with'....maybe soon.....sincerely, Gail Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted July 23, 2009 Dudy, thanks for visiting. I'm glad to hear you like it. Gail, good to hear from you. Bear is a special old girl, and very loyal. All the best. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted July 27, 2009 It made me smile, as it shows so much confidence of dog and child. I like the crop you did showing the sweet and essential of that scene. I think it needs a very thin frame though as the frame is a bit a competition. Very nice timing. Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted July 27, 2009 I'm so glad this made you smile! I have toned down my frames quite a bit in the past few years as a result of comments from other photonetters. But I still do like a bit of frame to seperate or isolate the image from the standard Photo.net page. I think a frame can enhance an image as long as it is not overdone. In my mind and in my sense of aesthetics the frame acts a boundry and it gives the image a "home' in which to sit, so that it is not overwhelmed by it's environment or just free floating. Of course you may be right about a thin frame rather than wide being more effective. This is just my own taste, which is sometimes completly WRONG! It also changes. I am interested in your thoughts, thanks so much for telling me what you think. Warm regards, Linda Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted August 1, 2009 This captures a symbiosis that only a dog and a child can manufacture. The little eyes, squeezed together in worry-free joy, is like a visual antidepressant. Link to comment
