Very good focus, all things considered. The scarlet nails seems to be an afterthought as a caption. The intention of Sig. Moroni seems to have been to (a) check out some new equipment, or, (b) peek over the shoulder of the blonde and satisfy his curiosity as to what said person was reading, or, © merely pass time till lunch was served. As the case may be, the result is technically impeccable, aesthetically acceptable, and quite original. Unfortunately the reading material is boring -- Lewis, Kit and Claire fail to engage the viewer/reader.

Let's start from the scenario: I was walking up and down the pool, three or four meters outside its perimeter, waiting for lunch time (?!) shooting my sons playing water polo and swimming. In the whilst I have been captured by a funny vision of a very red nail reading the book, since the nail's owner was chatting intesively with the mobile phone (I say "with" the mobile phone because, in fact, I cannot state that there was someone on the other side of the phone). While the lady was chatting the red finger nail was reading and the red toe nail was looking around the pool quite boring. I found the scene exhilarating and immediately thought to shoot but I was mounting the 12-24. I shooted anyway, and after I reached my bag to mount the 200. When I came back the mobile phone was still chatting with the lady but the red nails stopped the reading and the glancing and behaved just like normal nails. The new scene was quite boring and didn't deserve any picture.

Very creative and interesting shot. I have been wanting to do this using me as the subject but it's hard to focus on yourself...my storyline is simply to illustrate fashion and hopefullly I'll get around to shooting it one of these days. Nicely done. Thank you for sharing. :)
