paolo de faveri 1 Posted July 16, 2009 The Gorges of the Ardeche River are a wonderful canyon, 35 kms long and 250 meters deep, the river dug for millions years in a limestone plateau. Among the many amazing spots, the Pont d'Arc certainly steal the show for its imposing size and beautiful regular shape. This natural arch spans about 60 meters across the river and it's placed right at the beginning of the canyon, just off the nice small town of Vallon Pont d'Arc. I took this picture in the full moon light of last week, just one of the brightest moonlight show I've ever witnessed. This is stitch of 5 verticals, all taken at f5 for 30" of exposure at 1600 iso. Don't forget to check the larger size image for much better details in the arch and the stars. Your C&C are as always highly appreciated, thanks in advance for your time.
