yanzhang 1 Posted July 16, 2009 In a winter morning, I arrived Coogee beach (Sydney, Australia) at5.30am. It was still dark and raining. I planed to wait for a while tosee if the rain could stop in a moment. Then I saw a small white curveover the sky on my right side. So I decided to take a photo of it. It was too dark to focus on any objects even with my small torchswitched on. So I just manually adjusted the focus distance between 1meter to infinity and a bit closer to infinity. I turned the apertureto f/2.8 to measure the shutter speed under IS) 200, then turned backto f/11. I would need about 8 minute exposure. Then I fired my remoteshutter release. It was still raining, I used my hat to protected mycamera lens. After 458 seconds exposure, I saw a complete Moon bow hanging over thesky - I found out later that it was a moon bow, not rainbow.
